NO. 10

Located in the picturesque Chilterns, No. 10 is a semi-detached 1940's house practically untouched since its construction. The brief was to demolish the existing conservatory, garage and outbuilding and design a ‘wow factor’ contemporary side and rear extension.

The scheme opens up the ground floor of the property and creates a large open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Roof-lights and feature glazing flood the contemporary zinc and black timber clad extension with light. The sliding doors create fluidity between the inside and outside spaces.

The asymmetric roof profile projects to the South creating a private and covered external dining area for the family to enjoy no matter the weather.
